How it works — on both sides of the handshake
A leaky pipe at 7 a.m. shouldn't mean fifteen calls that no one answers. Post what you need once, and local pros come to you.
If you need something done
Tell us what you need
Type what's wrong like you'd text a friend, add a photo, drop your zip. We route it to the right local specialists the moment you post.
See prices up front
Before any pro calls you, you'll see what jobs like yours typically run locally. Pros quote, you compare, and nothing moves without your OK.
Pick your pro
Take the instant match for quick fixes, or collect bids for bigger projects. Chat on the platform, and everything stays secure between you and your pro.
Job done, no surprises
The pro shows up, the work gets done, and you pay what you okayed. Loved the work? One tap rebooks them next time.
If you do the work
Get listed free
Business name, categories, service area, optional rates. Two minutes, no documents required at launch. Already in our public-records directory? Claim your listing instead.
Leads come to you
When a customer posts a job in your categories and area, you're notified — email and in-app. The lead feed shows urgency, the customer's expected range, and current bid count.
Bid free, chat, win
No pay-to-quote, no lead-unlock fees. Bid your price, explain your value, chat with the customer, and win on merit.
Build a compounding profile
Completed jobs unlock reviews only real customers can write. Completion rate, response time, and ratings surface once they're statistically fair — and they compound into more wins.
The trust rules underneath
Marketplaces run on defaults. Ours are set deliberately.
Your address stays private
No pro sees your exact address until you've both said yes to the job. Until then, they only see your neighborhood — never the street.
Reviews you can trust
A review here means a real job happened on HomeHail. If a rating comes from somewhere else on the web, we say so and link it — the two never blend.
Listings that answer to someone
Every directory listing says exactly where its info came from. Owners can claim their listing anytime — or ask us to remove it, and we do within 48 hours.
Common questions
What is HomeHail?
HomeHail is a home-services marketplace for South Florida, the Keys, and north to Orlando. Customers post what they need, see a typical price range up front, and either get matched with local pros or collect bids. We're the venue — independent local pros do the work.
How much does it cost to use?
Customers pay nothing — ever. No posting fees, no matching fees, no hiring fees. Contractors list free; a 10% marketplace fee on jobs won is part of our contractor terms but is waived entirely for a contractor's first year. Right now: no fees for anyone.
Do I need an account to browse?
No. Browse every listing, price guide, and open task without an account. You'll need a free account to view a pro's contact info, message, post a task, bid, or leave a review.
How does the price estimate work?
We maintain typical duration and price bands for nearly a hundred common home services, tuned to South Florida rates. When you post a task we show the typical range for jobs like yours, so quotes land in context. Estimates are not quotes — your price may differ.
When does a pro see my address?
Only after you both accept the job. Until then, pros see an approximate area on the map — never your address. That's built into how the platform works, not just our policy.
What does 'Public-record listing' mean?
It's a directory entry we compiled from cited public sources (like Florida's state license database) so you can find and contact local pros from day one. The business hasn't claimed it. Every such listing names its sources, and the owner can claim it — or have it removed within 48 hours, no questions asked.
